In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean EvolveMeter (Pty) Ltd. "You" means the person using this website.

Accepting these terms
By using this website or registering on it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What this website currently does
EvolveMeter is a project in development. At this stage the website does one thing: it lets you register your interest so that we can contact you when the first EvolveMeter tools are released.
The platform described on this site is not yet operational. Nothing on this site is a commitment that any particular feature will be built, that the platform will launch on any particular date, or that it will launch at all.
When the platform does open, these terms will be replaced with fuller terms covering how it works, and we will tell you before that happens.
Who may register
To register, you must:
- be 18 years or older;
- give accurate information about yourself and the capacity in which you are registering;
- use an email address you are entitled to use.
If you register on behalf of a school, business or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
Your registration
Registering does not create an account, and there is nothing to log in to. You are telling us to contact you when EvolveMeter opens.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you give us, and for using an email address and phone number you are entitled to use.
We may remove a registration where we reasonably believe it was submitted with false information, or is being used to abuse the site. If we do so and you believe we have it wrong, contact us and we will look at it again.
You may remove your registration at any time by emailing dohan@checknet.co.za, or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your information.
How you may use the site
You may use this website for its intended purpose: to learn about EvolveMeter and to register your interest.
You may not:
- submit false, misleading or impersonating information;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its database, or to information that is not yours;
- interfere with the operation or security of the site, including by introducing malicious code;
- use automated tools to scrape, harvest or bulk-submit to the site;
- collect the personal information of other users;
- use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that harms or is intended to harm any person.
Our content
The text, graphics, layout, logo, the EvolveMeter name and the concepts published on this site belong to us or are used by us with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may read the site, and share links to it. You may not copy, republish, adapt or use our content commercially without our written permission.
If you would like to write about, present or otherwise use the EvolveMeter concept, we would usually be glad to say yes. Ask us at dohan@checknet.co.za.
Anything you send us
If you send us ideas, feedback, suggestions or comments about EvolveMeter, you agree that we may use them freely, without obligation to you and without payment. We will not treat them as confidential unless we have agreed with you in writing that we will.
Please do not send us anything you consider confidential or proprietary through this website.
What we do not promise
We provide this website as it is.
We aim to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of anything harmful. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, or take it offline for maintenance, without notice.
The information on this site describes a project in development and may change. It is not professional, financial or legal advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or how they handle your information. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business or goodwill, arising from your use of this website.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with this website is limited to R5,000.
This website is provided free of charge. Nothing on it is a paid service.
Your consumer rights
If you are in South Africa, the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 may give you rights that these terms cannot take away. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with its "last updated" date.
If we make a significant change — in particular when the platform launches — we will email registered users before it takes effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you may remove your registration.
General
These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of this website, and replace anything said before.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
If we do not enforce a term immediately, that does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another entity, for example if the EvolveMeter project is moved into a different legal structure. Your rights will not be reduced by this. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
If we have a dispute, please contact us first at dohan@checknet.co.za — most things are resolved quickly that way. If we cannot resolve it, the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction. This does not affect any right you may have to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
